Installation

npm i -S parse-connection-url

Usage

const Connection = require('parse-connection-url')
const httpConn = new Connection('http://admin:admin@localhost:8443/some/path')
console.log(httpConn)
// {
//   connection: 
//    { secure: false,
//      protocol: 'http',
